It takes time!
It's unnecessary when people criticize new models or talk about how bad their walk is when this is their first time in front of a crowd that is judging them. We see this on tv all the time and it has always been the way we pick talent. That may be good for them but that is not how we do it at The Industry United....
Our training process is a gradual and an empowering development experience. We are aware that sometimes our on lookers get frustrated because they want to give input on what they think will help us with trianing the models. We appreciate that and acknowledge this desire but we have a style and technique that has been proven to work with models in the past who have developed into leaders and are successful in the industry.
We are more than just a casting call and we understand that it may be something that's unclear to some people but we are a movement. We welcome you to learn more about our movement and we even offer you the opportunity to be apart of it.

How I cleared up my Acne in 3 Weeks!
*Disclaimer I am not a doctor, medical specialist, etc. This my own testimony of what has been working for me
Since middle school I had challenges with my acne. I was introduced to all types of products from soaps to vitamins and everything in between. At that time there wasn't to many people in my life who knew much about healthy eating. Can you believe that when I cut back on the following, my skin started to clear up?!
This helped :
*Wash your face and body with this all natural line of products: https://www.facebook.com/SoFNaturalSoaps (got my soap from Wegmens Grocery in the organic section.) You can also get it from amazon.com
*No more Junk food/ fast food/Sweets for at least 6 weeks (replacements: oranges, grapes, olives, strawberries, peaches, plums, bananas, wheat cracker, blueberries etc)
*Less meat/poultry (replacements: unsalted cashews, almond milk, etc (not so much dairy)

I now drink a lot of water! Now water and juicing are my two main source of fluids. I drink around 6-7 bottles of water a day ( 1 bottle of morning before I juiced. 2 bottles of water between 12 noon to 3 pm in the afternoon. 1 between 5-7 and 1 or 2 at dinner time . I normally like to stop drinking water around 9 pm but that based on my own lifestyle. You can change it to what works best for your life style
Another very important step is to rest up and try to stay stress free. That was hard at first with my busy life, but I meditate and do activities that allow me to relax and have peace.
There are several types of acne and the more severe cases may need more time to see results but what I do know is that it worked for me. Down below is a picture of a 3 women with acne and the scaring. It is pretty close to what my face use to look like without makeup: As for the acne blemishes and left over marks, using baking soda as a scrub and shay/coco butter to moisturizing and fading. here goes:
Remember, eating right plays a major role along with filling your body with water!
It is recommended to consult a dermatologist for immediate help if you have severe acne or if you don't see results.

HAIR:
WHEN IT COMES TO HAIR, OUR CASTING CALL IS NOT TOTALLY TRADITIONAL. IF YOUR HAIR IS FIRE RED TO OMBRE BLONDE THAT'S NO PROBLEM, BUT IF IT IS LUCKY CLOVER GREEN, ELECTRIC BLUE, PASSION PURPLE JUST EXAMPLES THEN IT MAYBE MUCH. IF THAT IS YOUR EDGY STYLE OR PERSONALITY LIFE STYLE AND YOU OWN UP TO THAT LOOK, THEN WE MAY LOVE IT AND WANT SOMETHING DIFFERENT AND EDGY IN OUR SHOW.
MAKEUP:
DO'S IN CASTING CALL MAKEUP (KEEP IN MIND THAT WE DON'T MIND LIP COLOR AT OUR CASTING, JUST CALM THE EYE SHADOW AND BLUSH DOWN):
DON'TS IN MAKEUP AT OUR CASTING CALLS (BASICALLY DON'T WEAR MAKEUP THAT LOOKS LIKE YOU ARE DOING A THEMED FASHION SHOW, BUT DO COME CAMERA READY, JUST NOT OVERDONE UP):
NAILS:
DON'T GO OVER BOARD. BASICALLY NOTHING TO CRAZY... :
DON'TS:
DO'S (WE DON'T MIND DESIGNS, WE DO LIKE THEM BUT JUST NOT EXTREME DESIGNS BUT TRENDY FOR THIS CASTING IS FINE)

LETS TALK FASHION... DESIGNER SPOTLIGHT TIME!
DESIGNER: GUSA BY VICTORIA
like her on facebook: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Gusa-By-Victoria/136696159713525?fref=ts
Victoria Kageni, designer, mother, super woman and philanthropist. The list goes on when referring to this strong and determined woman. The Industry United collaborates with many creative people as well as business owners and I must say that Victoria is a clear example of what an awesome collaboration looks like. The cool thing about collaborations is that another collaboration turned into (another plug) a good friend Heather from Wrap'd tight :www.wrapdtight.com linked Victoria and I together. I love the networking of The Lehigh Valley. It reminds me of that good ole fashioned "help a neighbor out and build a beautiful community"...
Things that we know about Victoria:
1.From Kenya, Africa and now resides in The Lehigh Valley (PA)
2. A very talented designer
3. Wrote a book that promotes overcoming financial woes
4. Is a mother of 4 who she educates not only as their mother but as their amazing teacher as well
5.A handy woman. From gardening to handling heavy industrial machinery
I will stop right there, because the list goes on from here.
Here are some of my favorite pieces and what I plan on purchasing:
Upcoming partnership/collaborations that The Industry United LLC and GUSA By Victoria have planned:
Ok I won't tell you to much but for starters I will share our next fashion event! check out the flyer down below. Oh yes we are not playing around! Giving back to our community is priority that's for sure!
VICTORIA YOU ARE AWESOME!!!

Loyalty And Respect
Our Event Team. Our Family.
I can honestly say that I love the people that are apart of the movement that I have been creating since I was a teenager. No matter what state, no matter what race, age, sex, or size my mission has always been to empower. Given a book with blank pages there is no doubt that I can fill it up with positive things to say, not because I am living a perfect life but because the things that have happen and that have been conquered put a positive vibe in me.
Now back to my team... No one is perfect and yes there are a lot of people out here who are not happy but one thing I can say is that the models and coordinators from The Industry United know how to stay "Professional, Poised and Polite". Yes it took time and training but we are one strong unit. The awesome thing is that we are growing and looking to train and develop more people who have a passion for Fashion and Entertainment!
If you want to be apart of a team that has energy, positive thinking, enlightenment empowerment and leadership development opportunities and even promoting a healthy living, then you found the right team! Some of us, even myself had to learn to develop these skills. Once again, if you want something bad enough then you will do what you have to do to get it.
